Job Description

This position is for a Labor & Delivery RN in a high-quality facility that provides obstetric care for patients who are 20+ weeks pregnant and up to 6 weeks postpartum. The unit includes 14 labor and delivery rooms, an OB Triage unit, OB ORs, and an OB PACU, with a focus on family-centered care and modern equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and postpartum patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Assist in OB triage, labor assessments, and emergency interventions as necessary.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care and patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of current Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license in hand.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and C-EFM certifications required.
• OB Triage experience required.
• Charge experience is preferred.
• Travel experience is a plus.
