Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will provide comprehensive care to mothers and their newborns, managing labor and delivery processes, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring safe practices during the birthing process.

Responsibilities

• Circulate during labor, delivery, and recovery of obstetric patients.
• Administer blood and blood products.
• Implement patient care plans for labor and preterm labor patients.
• Monitor and manage high-risk deliveries and complications.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Assist with postpartum care and complications.
• Use Epic for electronic charting and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Epic experience is required.
• Active nursing license and BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate certifications.
• ACLS is preferred.
