Travel RN - ICU - Night Shift

Job Description

Join a dedicated team at a small community hospital designated as a Magnet facility, serving primarily elective patients. The ICU is staffed with intensivists 24/7, providing a supportive environment for travel nurses.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1 standard in ICU, adjusting based on patient acuity.
• Perform critical care procedures including intubation, central line insertion, bronchoscopy, and endoscopy.
• Administer and titrate vasopressor IV drips, manage ventilators, and care for patients with sepsis and arrhythmias.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is required.
• Preferred: Cardiac experience and CRRT.
