Nursing Care Supervisor

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (0600 - 1830) on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Job Description

The Nursing Care Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing care and collaborating with physicians to coordinate total patient care. This role involves leading and directing interdisciplinary care teams across various unit levels, including Intensive Care and Med/Surg units. The supervisor may be required to float between units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing care provided to patients.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with physicians.
• Lead and direct interdisciplinary care teams.
• Float between various units as needed.
• Participate in on-call duties including Monday nights and every 3rd to 4th weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Cath Lab experience - REQUIRED
• Current skills checklist pertinent to specialty.
• Two supervisory references from the past 12 months of employment.
• Licensure/Certifications: ARRT, ACLS, BLS (Facility will not pend license/certs).
