Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry (Night Shift)

Schedule

Night shift, three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to handle a variety of patient needs, including telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and manage telemetric monitoring.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient assessments and care plans accurately in the charting system.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Utilize effective communication skills to interact with patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required.
• Active Ohio RN license or active compact state license required.
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Candidate must pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
