Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment providing specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, such as biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided procedures.

This role includes preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery, including PACU and extended stay (23-hour). Interventional Radiology is an essential part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. The role requires critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Interventional Radiology RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.

Schedule

This position offers a 4x10 hour shift schedule, requiring 40 hours per week, with availability for weekends, holidays, and on-call as per unit needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
• ACLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
• Telemetry Experience
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology
