MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, with a commitment of six weekend shifts over a six-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing high-quality care to patients using the Nursing Process, in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking skills and scientific judgment, with a focus on the safe delivery of care. The nurse must maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and effectively delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff. Leadership in directing and supervising assigned personnel in the delivery of patient care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities effectively.
• Direct and supervise patient care delivered by assigned personnel.
• Anticipate and plan for safe delivery of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess an active Arizona RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry setting.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is required.
