Travel MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM - 3/12's; Must work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires demonstrating critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the planning and delivery of safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care according to nursing standards and protocols.
• Assess patient health needs and develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and response to treatment.
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in the MS/Telemetry setting.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is required.
• Must be willing to float between departments and facilities.
