Travel MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 shifts per week with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in compliance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The RN is expected to demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment while planning and delivering safe patient care. This role requires the ability to maintain clinical competencies, delegate patient care priorities, and supervise assigned personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient assessments and care delivery.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate patient care tasks appropriately based on staff education and experience.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in the delivery of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MS/Telemetry nursing.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is required.
