12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekend and holiday work scheduled as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse for the Stepdown & Floor unit will provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including those with various respiratory and cardiac conditions. The role includes titrating medications in the stepdown area and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced stepdown and floor setting.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as necessary.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical records system (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• Experience with telemetry and monitoring of patients.
