Registered Nurse - Stepdown Unit

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekend nights.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Stepdown unit, focusing on providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have experience with monitoring patient conditions and administering treatments under established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions effectively.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
• Manage patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare professionals.
• Provide support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS Certification.
• Experience with common diagnoses in a MedSurg population, including chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, and UTIs.
• Ability to read telemetry strips and monitor patient responses.
