Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This position requires night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is accountable for providing comprehensive care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. This role utilizes the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning for safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the experience and education of the available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring certifications are required.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
