Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care unit in Highlands, NC. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients in a setting that emphasizes teamwork and collaboration. The RN will work with a diverse patient population and be expected to maintain high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a maximum of 6-7 patients at a time.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting any changes and updates.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and patient care planning.
• Assist with wound care and minor procedures as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess valid RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Experience with geriatric patients or inpatient rehabilitation (Swing Bed Patients) experience necessary.
