Contract LVN - 5N MedSurg - 13 Weeks

This position requires a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with no call and a requirement for BLS certification.

Job Description

Join our dynamic 5 North MedSurg team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a 13-week contract. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the medical staff.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.
• Assist in daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Engage in patient education and provide support for recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with RNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current LVN license.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS and IV skills are preferred.
• Experience in Ortho and Kidney Transplant care, and Central Line and Foley management is a plus.
• Ability to adapt in a culturally diverse team environment.
