X-Ray Tech Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with an on-call rotation required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Tech to perform radiographic procedures requiring a robust understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of technical competency along with the ability to operate independently with initiative and ingenuity. This role involves the application of ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes in both adult and pediatric radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic tests using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, including operating room, orthopedic, and emergency departments.
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Tech.
• Current certifications: ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, and CPR.
• Must provide a radiation badge from the agency; not provided by the facility.
• Fluoroscopy and operating room experience is required.
