Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with holiday rotations and every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients. This role involves working in a dynamic hospital environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments, including bronchoscopy and extubation.
• Monitor and assess respiratory status of neonates, infants, and pediatric patients.
• Administer medications and perform necessary evaluations.
• Participate in patient care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience required, specifically in neonate and infant care.
• Must have RRT certification, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license is required at the time of start.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
