Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Will work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with holiday rotation and every other weekend required.

Job Description

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatrics, you will provide care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. You will be responsible for assessing respiratory conditions, administering therapies, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care for patients in the pediatric unit.
• Perform diagnostic testing and therapeutic procedures as necessary.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric, neonate, and infant respiratory therapy experience.
• RRT certification, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Must possess a valid South Carolina RCP license prior to starting.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
