Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics

This is a 13-week contract position offering a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with holiday rotation and every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide specialized care in a pediatric setting. The clinician will work with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients, utilizing expertise in respiratory care to deliver high-quality support and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures according to established protocols.
• Assess and monitor patients to ensure effective respiratory function.
• Prepare and maintain equipment for various respiratory treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric, neonate, and infant respiratory therapy experience.
• Current RRT, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license is required at the time of start.
• Epic charting experience is preferred.
