Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

This position requires a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery. This role requires working effectively with a diverse patient population and providing high-quality nursing care during various stages of labor and postpartum recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as needed.
• Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery is required.
• Travel experience is required.
• Current RN license (State or Compact) is required.
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
