Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, including a required unpaid 30-minute lunch.

Job Description

The Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist (OT) will primarily provide services in an inpatient rehabilitation unit, with occasional floating to acute care units based on rehabilitation census needs. The OT will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and implement treatment plans for patients in the rehabilitation unit.
• Provide therapy interventions to patients with various conditions, including neurological and orthopedic disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and strategies to improve functional independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a current Occupational Therapy license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
