Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift Monday through Friday, either from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description

The role involves direct patient care for individuals with conditions related to diabetes, thyroid issues, HIV, and infections. Responsibilities include intake, triage, and rooming for clinic visits, as well as the administration of medications, including first dose IV and IM antibiotics, and PICC line management.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and ensure appropriate patient care is delivered.
• Administer medications and manage patient treatment plans.
• Utilize nursing skills for patient intake, triage, and rooming.
• Conduct PICC line maintenance and removal as needed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant field.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred but not mandatory.
