Registered Nurse - Operating Room

2:30 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, no call

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and other perioperative service areas. This professional acts as a patient advocate and ensures adherence to surgical standards of nursing practice. The RN will prioritize and organize workload effectively while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of care and professional nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and implement age-specific care and interactions.
• Conduct head-to-toe assessments and reassess as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team including RNs, LPNs, NAs, and physicians in patient assessments.
• Utilize appropriate pain management techniques.
• Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans for patients.
• Maintain knowledge of sterile techniques and commitment to team objectives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program with a current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing role (strictly enforced).
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
