Registered Nurse (RN) - IMCU

Assignment Duration

This is a 48-hour weekly contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 12 hours per shift, 4 days on.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (IMCU) team. The IMCU consists of 16-10 beds and operates with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Manage and monitor patients with conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, and chronic kidney disease.
• Administer medications, including heparin drips, and oversee therapy management for TDM2 and substance abuse patients.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
