Registered Nurse - PCU Float Pool

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our PCU Float Pool. This position involves providing care to patients across all PCU and IMCU floors, primarily serving a cardiac population. Nurses will also be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3-4, focusing on STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain patients.
• Administer cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar-sized facility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Active RN license in the respective state.
