Ultrasound Technologist - Pediatric and Transplant Experience Required

Night shift: Monday to Thursday, 20:00 - 06:00.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services, focusing on pediatric emergent cases and transplant procedures. The ideal candidate will have expertise using EPIC documentation systems, be familiar with GE ultrasound equipment, and possess a solid understanding of pediatric diagnoses and care.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations for pediatric emergent cases such as appendicitis, pylorus stenosis, and intussusception.
• Conduct ultrasound procedures related to kidney and liver transplants.
• Utilize GE E10 and portable ultrasound units effectively while adhering to best practices for disinfection and safety.
• Work collaboratively with the NICU and obstetrics teams in performing necessary scans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC system following all procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year experience with EPIC documentation.
• Experience with pediatric patients and transplant procedures is essential.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ARDMS certification is mandatory; ARDMS PS and RVT certifications preferred.
