Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients, ensuring a focus on safety and quality in all aspects of care delivery. This role emphasizes teamwork and collaboration while delivering patient-centered nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized plans of care.
• Identify patient and family education needs through assessment and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver patient information and status updates in a timely manner for team conferences.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record.
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and ensure direct patient care following the nursing process.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status effectively to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide direction and support to ancillary nursing personnel, promoting a positive work environment.
• Maintain environmental safety and adhere to hospital safety policies.
• Assume charge responsibilities as requested and identify areas for personal professional growth.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to the first shift (specific to CIRH).
• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
