Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry unit. This role involves caring for a generalized cardiac patient population, delivering high-quality nursing care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and ensuring effective communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and provide care to cardiac patients.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient conditions.
• Deliver pre and post-operative care for cardiac catheterizations.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health issues.
• Utilize telemetry equipment for patient monitoring.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a telemetry setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR is a plus.
