Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse

Schedule

12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Special Care Nursery (SCN) is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing care to neonates with medical and/or surgical problems. Admissions to the SCN are infants born at the associated hospital, with evaluations for admissions and transfers from other hospitals conducted on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU.
• Monitor and assess infants’ health status and respond to changes in condition.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment including ophthalmic imaging systems, cardiac monitors, warmer beds, and isolettes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications are required.
