Schedule

Shift: 3-12s, with occasional day shifts, call, and night shifts as per department rotation.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will operate and maintain x-ray, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, assisting during interventional procedures, and adhering to quality control protocols across all modalities.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray, fluoroscopic, and c-arm equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Capture and process images, ensuring optimal quality and clarity.
• Perform quality control for imaging areas as required.
• Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners and assist with contrast media administration.
• Support radiologists during interventional procedures using CT images for guidance.
• Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and ensure the removal of hazardous metal objects.
• Transport patients according to their physical abilities and manage patient safety during exams.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging areas, ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Conduct follow-up calls to patients or physicians as necessary and assist in training Radiology students.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT certification is required.
• State licensure as applicable.
• Experience in radiography, CT, and MRI is preferred.
