ICU Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Night shift, 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse in the Float Pool will provide high-quality patient care across all critical care floors, including the Emergency Room and step-down/PACU units. The role requires flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in critical care settings, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to promote effective treatment plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, promptly addressing any changes in health status.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and communication of patient information.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sized facility.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Active RN license in the applicable state.
