Schedule

Day and Night rotating shifts: 3x12 hours (7am - 7:30pm / 7pm - 7:30am). Shifts may be variable based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality care for patients across various units, including potential floating to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and assist with medical procedures.
• Maintain compliance with ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
