Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN)

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. No call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and other perioperative services. The ideal candidate will act as a patient advocate and meet surgical standards of nursing practice, demonstrating strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and implement age-specific care and interaction.
• Conduct thorough head-to-toe assessments on all patients and perform reassessments as per policy.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team (RN, LPN, NA, Physician, and ancillary disciplines) in assessing patient/family needs.
• Assess and manage pain using appropriate techniques.
• Maintain professional nursing practice standards in the clinical setting.
• Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans based on assessment and diagnosis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program with current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience is strictly enforced.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
