Rotating shifts: 3x12-hour shifts (Day: 07:00 - 19:30; Night: 19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care. The nurse will potentially float to designated units and the emergency department to care for a similar patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry environment.
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments.
• Current Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment to be completed during orientation.
