Med/Surg Tele RN – Night and Day Shifts

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
Day shifts: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
Note: Shifts may vary based on operational needs, with an expectation to work every other holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN to provide high-quality patient care at our facility. The RN will potentially float to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for the same patient population.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care with a focus on medical/surgical telemetry.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, vital signs, and ECG rhythms.
• Administer medications as per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols during patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 18 months of permanent experience in the Med/Surg Tele specialty prior to travel assignments.
• Must also have 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience; travel experience is acceptable.
• Current and active Ohio RN license or Compact state license is required.
• Must hold valid certifications: BLS (American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS.
• One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission.
