Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

This is a Medical Surgical Orthopedic unit role with responsibilities including floating to Med Surge/Telemetry units as needed. Candidates will require ACLS certification and need to complete an EKG exam during onboarding. Charge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical Orthopedic setting.
• Float to MS/Tele units as required, focusing on providing quality care.
• Administer medications and follow established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a large healthcare facility working in MS/Tele and strong orthopedic experience.
• 1 year of experience with Epic EMR is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
