ICU RN Position - Eastern New Mexico

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; Every Other Weekend, Floating and Call Required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU RN to join our team in Eastern New Mexico. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a mix of ICU and Stepdown settings, with some Medical-Surgical overflow. This position requires flexibility, as floating between departments and being on-call may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and accurately record vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and families regarding care plans and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of ICU nursing experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required.
• Valid RN license for the state of New Mexico.
