Trauma-Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with a total of 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Weekend and holiday rotation required.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Trauma-Neuro ICU Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. This position requires flexibility as the role may include possible call and float to support other units within the facility. Candidates must be willing to adhere to all organizational standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Trauma-Neuro Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective patient management.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care options.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no infractions in state of practice.
• Life Support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (BLS and ACLS).
• Driver’s license to verify residency is required.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
