Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: Thursday to Saturday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with on-call rotation amongst staff.

Job Description

The Multimodality Tech is responsible for performing CT scans and radiographic exams, producing computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed. The role includes obtaining patient history, explaining routine procedures, and addressing patient concerns according to established practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic exams and CT scans as per protocols.
• Produce high-quality imaging and assist in diagnosis.
• Obtain and document patient history.
• Explain procedures to patients and address inquiries.
• Participate in on-call rotation and potential weekend work as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and in Computed Tomography.
• ARRT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications required.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications needed.
• MUST have completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists.
• Must hold a radiation badge provided by the agency.
