Night shift: 3x12 or 4x12 hours, 7 PM - 7 AM, weekdays, and every other weekend. Must be able to float to Mother Baby as needed.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) will work in a regional tertiary care unit focused on low-risk and high-risk obstetrics. The RN will collaborate with midwives and physicians to enhance the childbirth experience for diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in Labor and Delivery.
• Circulate in the operating room and manage patient triage as needed.
• Assist with IV starts and other clinical procedures.
• Float to the Mother Baby unit when not needed in Labor and Delivery.
• Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in Labor and Delivery.
• Must possess a current RN license (Compact or State) - Pending licenses accepted.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRPN.
• Experience with Cerner required; familiarity with Surginet and Fetallink documentation preferred.
• Experience with both triage and scrub roles is a plus.
