Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Orthopedic unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for orthopedic patients and will work with a diverse patient population of all ages. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical setting, specifically focusing on orthopedic cases.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in the Medical Surgical specialty.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Experience in orthopedic patient care preferred.
