Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care for generalized cardiac patients, ranging from young adults to the elderly. Responsibilities will include monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient condition through telemetry and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments per unit protocols.
• Provide pre and post care for cardiac catheterizations.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo is essential.
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR is preferred.
