Registered Nurse - Charge RN (Nights)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (Charge RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a 29-bed unit that delivers services to adolescent through geriatric patients with orthopedic and medical-surgical needs. The role includes telemetry monitoring and oversight of nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care delivery and supervise nursing staff.
• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and wound care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data for appropriate interventions.
• Manage charge RN responsibilities as needed.
• Facilitate effective communication among interdisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Current BLS certification mandatory.
• Charge RN experience is required.
• Must possess valid nursing license in hand upon submission.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is required.
