Job Description

The Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) provides specialized care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. This role requires experience in cardiac care, particularly in critical situations such as cardiogenic shock programs, and demands a high level of skill and attention.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with cardiac conditions.
• Monitor patients' hemodynamic status using advanced equipment.
• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures including central line insertion and intubations.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage in patient and family education regarding health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have robust cardiac experience and strong critical care background.
• Advanced skills in PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT are preferred.
• Current ACLS certification is required.
• Active RN licensure in the state of Tennessee.
