Job Description

The Registered Nurse will join a medical-surgical unit with a staffing ratio of 1:5. Candidates should possess a med-surg background, with significant experience in caring for post-surgical patients, particularly those undergoing orthopedic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.
• Administer medications and perform treatments according to prescribed protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Document patient care and medical histories using Cerner EHR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NC or compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Cerner EHR experience and IV competency.
