Registered Nurse - Outpatient Clinic

Schedule

This position operates on a 4 x 9 schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM. No night or weekend shifts are required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other health care team members. This role is responsible for patient assessments, implementing education for patients and their families, and initiating appropriate interventions.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patients' health issues.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement the plan of care.
• Promote health and maintain a safe environment.
• Evaluate nursing practices against professional standards and engage in peer collaboration.
• Integrate ethical considerations and research findings into practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Montana Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: Outpatient clinic experience and knowledge of electronic health record systems.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
