Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. The therapist will ensure the design of functional treatment programs aimed at effective community reintegration and will serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner.
• Participate in clinical education for students.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintain professional licensure.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• A minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for physical therapy.
