Occupational Therapist

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist's primary goals are to restore and maximize function, facilitate activities of daily living after disabilities have occurred to prevent further restrictions of function, and to help clients reach their maximum performance level within their capabilities. The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients using medically prescribed occupational therapy programs while performing other duties as assigned consistent with their skills and training, in alignment with the goals and mission of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to restore and enhance patients' functionality.
• Guide patients in activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient care.

Schedule

This position offers flexible hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Location

San Jose, CA and neighboring cities including Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Stanford, Menlo Park, East Palo Alto, Atherton, and Redwood City.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Eligible candidates should possess relevant certification and licensure in occupational therapy. Experience in a healthcare or home health setting is preferred.
