3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 40 hours guaranteed per week with potential for additional shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for performing the nursing process to ensure quality patient care. RNs will direct and oversee other staff while demonstrating compassion towards patients, families, and colleagues. This role calls for excellent customer service and a commitment to the organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and develop collaborative care plans.
• Provide and coordinate nursing care in collaboration with physicians.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding discharge and aftercare planning.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
• Document and report necessary information in accordance with policies.
• Monitor and report safety risks to the physician.
• Foster a customer-friendly environment through quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote patient-centered, compassionate care across diverse populations.
• Function as a clinical leader and promote staff development.
• Ensure adherence to patient care protocols and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years behavioral health experience (required)
• Pediatric experience (required)
• Current BLS certification
• Active RN license in Michigan
