Pediatric Cardiac ICU Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac ICU Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess proven expertise in pediatric cardiac critical care and have prior experience utilizing the Epic electronic medical record system. This position is critical to our healthcare team as we strive to provide high-quality care to our young patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the Cardiac ICU.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions in the Epic EMR system accurately and promptly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU.
• Active RN license with related certifications.
• Epic EMR experience is required.
• Navy blue scrubs are required for this position.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, with a 12-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The role may require floating to other units based on facility needs.
