Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours available per week. Must work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Required to work at least 1 holiday during the contract duration.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This role is essential in providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patients with acute medical and surgical needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Be prepared to float to other units as needed, and willing to take charge when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute Med/Surg/Telemetry nursing required.
• 2 years of professional experience in the U.S. required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
